What is this miracle cure? A CFL. CFL stands “compact fluorescent bulbs”. You’ve seen the swirl bulbs. One bulb swapped out in place of an ordinary 60-watt bulb would save enough electricity to power all the homes in Delaware and Rhode Island. In terms of oil not burned, or greenhouse gases not exhausted into the atmosphere, one bulb is equivalent to taking 1.3 million cars of the roads.

Lea Hernandez's House Burned: Simone Rallies Help
Lea Hernandez, a wonderful artist and comic creator, suffered a house fire Sept 9th. Her friend, Gail Simone, tells the story.

Early this morning, the Texas home of award-winning writer/artist Lea Hernandez, my friend and co-creator of the graphic novel Killer Princesses, caught fire and burned. Half her house is now gone, and the rest is smoke-damaged. In addition, she lost at least six of her family’s beloved pets, two dogs and four cats. If you knew Lea, you’d know how devastating that is.

Rockstar: Supernova
So I've been watching Rockstar: Supernova for a little bit and I've decided that I do like the show. The "cast" certainly had no idea what they were getting themselves into. I find it hard to believe that some of those people think they could lead a rock band, let alone one with Jason Newsted, Gilby Clark, or Tommy Lee in it.

You'd Think I'd Learn
I came onto my blog to look something up that I had written last year and I found tons of comment spam. I started deleting them one by one, after making sure I turned comments off. After a while I decided this was to slow, so I edited them with notetab. It turned out that it didn't work the way I had hoped so I deleted all my archives. Looks like I'm starting over. I'll write something when I have something I need to say.
